BubbleIQ makes it easy to send Zendesk tickets with different conditions into different Slack channels. We use Zendesk Triggers and Targets, each Trigger is mapped to a unique Target that corresponds to a Slack channel.
When you install BubbleIQ, the first channel you invite the BubbleIQ bot to is automatically set as your default Slack channel, which is mapped to the trigger called "BubbleIQ" in Zendesk. If you're looking to change the primary channel, see this help center article.
To add a new trigger in a new channel, do the following:
- Invite the BubbleIQ bot to the Slack channel using /invite @bubbleiq
- Type the following in the channel: @bubbleiq alt-1
- Go to Zendesk and you should see a new Trigger called BubbleIQAlt1. Change the conditions to whatever you want, and test out sending a ticket into that channel.
You can repeat this process up to alt-29.
